The system installed on the flat roof consists of two Hewalex KS22400 solar collectors, a Resol pump, an expansion vessel and a Jäspi Ekowatti 300K boiler, which has the solar coil already installed. The system is installed in the optimal 45 degree inclination towards south. The collectors have been mounted on top of concrete ballasts and the pipelines have been drawn through a chimney that was not in use to the technical room where the boiler is. The limiting factor in the system size was the boilers small capacity (300L) but it should still save around 2203 kWh annually in heating, which has previously relied on electricity.
